Game Modes

Hell Clock offers several ways to play, catering to different challenge levels.

Normal Mode

The standard gameplay experience with all mechanics, including the Hell Clock timer, active.

Hardcore Mode

For the ultimate challenge. In Hardcore Mode, if your character dies, the character and its save file are permanently deleted.

Relaxed Mode

For players who dislike time pressure, Relaxed Mode completely disables the Hell Clock timer. This allows for more methodical exploration and can be toggled on for both the main campaign and Ascension endgame runs.
