Trinkets

Trinkets are a unique type of “gear” you acquire throughout your runs in Hell Clock. Unlike other equipment or relics, you have no direct control over them once obtained; you can’t change, craft, or build them. They function as passive bonuses that automatically enhance your character’s capabilities during a run. However, like other in-run loot, trinkets are lost upon death or ascension.

Trinkets are categorized by the primary type of bonus they provide. There are four main categories, each focusing on different aspects of your character’s power:

Vigor

Provides Life % bonuses, increasing your character’s overall survivability.

Fury

Focuses on offensive power, offering bonuses to Damage %, Critical Hit Damage, and Critical Hit Chance.

Agility

Enhances your character’s speed and mobility with bonuses to Attack Speed, Movement Speed, and Cooldown Speed.

Spirit

Boosts your magical resources, providing Mana % bonuses.

Trinkets come in different rarities and can have multiple tiers, reflecting their overall power:

  • Rarities: Trinkets have four distinct rarity levels, with higher rarities offering more potent effects:

    • Common
    • Magic
    • Rare
    • Epic
  • Tiers: In addition to rarity, trinkets can also have up to three tiers, representing their progression within a rarity:

    • Tier 1
    • Tier 2
    • Tier 3

Trinkets are obtained exclusively during your dungeon runs:

  • Enemy Drops: They can drop from various enemies.
  • Chests: Opening chests found on dungeon floors often rewards you with gold, and if you’re lucky, a trinket.
