Blessed Gear is a special category of permanent equipment that serves as the foundation of your character’s long-term power in Hell Clock. Unlike other items found during runs, Blessed Gear persists through death and even a full Ascension reset.

How to Acquire Blessed Gear

There are two primary ways to obtain Blessed Gear:

The Blessed Corner (Shop)

The Blessed Corner is the village’s main shop in the hub world, run by the NPC Jiao. Here, you can spend Soul Stones to purchase new and powerful pieces of Blessed Gear. This is the most reliable way to acquire specific upgrades.

Dungeon Drops

Blessed Gear can also be found as rare drops from enemies or chests during your runs, providing a chance-based way to upgrade your permanent equipment.

Tiers and Progression

All Blessed Gear has a Tier, indicating its power level. In the full release, the tier system goes up to Tier 5. Higher tier items will have significantly better stats and are crucial for tackling higher Hell Levels.

If you find a better, temporary piece of gear during a run, you can equip it. After the run ends, your permanent Blessed Gear will be automatically re-equipped.

Blessed Gear provides your character’s power floor, while the Relics and Blessings you find during a run determine your build’s power ceiling.

Editor's Advice

• Early Game: Prioritize defensive Blessed Gear (like the Worn Jacket for Health) to increase run consistency and reduce deaths.
• Mid Game: Focus on offensive Blessed Gear (like the Rusty Revolver for Base Damage) to speed up farming for Soul Stones and other resources.
• Hardcore: Defensive Blessed Gear is almost always the safer and better initial investment to protect your character from being permanently deleted.
