Welcome to the complete achievement guide for Hell Clock. All achievements are categorized below for your convenience.
Campaign Related Achievements
These achievements are unlocked by progressing through the main story in Acts I, II, and III.
Old Companions
Progress through Act I until you find João Abade in his cell. Talk to him to unlock the achievement.
The Merchant
The second boss of Act I. Defeating him unlocks this achievement. If he is defeated on the very first run of the game, the 'Art of the Deal' achievement is also awarded.
Historical Reparation
After defeating The Merchant, you will acquire a quest item. Return to João Abade in the main hub to use the item and repair the Great Bell.
Maternal Instinct
The third boss of Act I. To defeat her, focus on avoiding her area-of-effect (AoE) attacks and circle around her to dodge incoming shots.
The Head-Cutter
The final boss of Act I. To defeat him, continuously move to dodge his slam attacks and prioritize destroying the enemy spawners he summons.
The Coward
The first boss of Act II. Tamarindo will escape during the first encounter. To face him again, progress until you are forced to return to the hub, where João Abade will join the fight.
Back Home
Unlocked after defeating Tamarindo for good. You will receive the Key to Canudos, which opens the main gate to continue Act II.
Banquet in Hell
A high-health boss in Act II. Its attacks are clearly telegraphed. When it prepares to shoot, create distance to more easily dodge the volley of projectiles.
Seeking Purpose
After defeating Urubu in Act II, progress until Pajeú collapses. When you next return to the hub, Benta will grant you the power of the Constellations.
The Minister
The final boss of Act II. This boss is very durable. Focus on dodging its dash and spin attacks while dealing damage.
Pseudoscience
Unlocked automatically by progressing through the story of Act III. This is related to the missable 'Stay a While and Listen' achievement.
Final Destination
After defeating the 'Nina's Lackey' boss in Act III, you will board the Seven O'Clock Train, unlocking the achievement.
Stop the Train!
The boss of the Seven O'Clock Train area. Its attacks have clear ground indicators, making them predictable and possible to dodge with careful attention.
The Doctor of Death
Unlocked by defeating the final boss of Act III, Dr. Nina Rodrigues in her monstrous form.
Our Legacy
Awarded alongside 'The Doctor of Death' for rescuing the soul of Antônio Conselheiro after completing the main story campaign.
Miscellaneous & Gameplay Achievements
Tomb Raider
Defeat a Scavenger enemy. These rare enemies emit a yellow glow and drop valuable loot, but will attempt to escape through a portal if not killed quickly.
Future Investments
At the end of a floor, purchase an item from the 'Blessing of the Future' statue, which has one hand raised with a glowing orb. This statue appears randomly in place of the standard blessing statue.
Shortcut
First, unlock the Red Portal node at the Great Bell in the main hub. Then, use the red portal that appears during a run to unlock the achievement.
Truly Blessed
Fully upgrade a single skill within one run by acquiring all of its available blessings: 1 Epic, 2 Rare, 3 Uncommon, and 4 Common.
Solid Foundation
At the Blessings of Foundation statue, purchase all available upgrades for a single path (e.g., all upgrades associated with the pistol icon).
Damage & Stat Milestones
Tough Guy
Deal at least 30,000 damage with a single instance of damage.
Tough Northeastern
Deal at least 100,000 damage with a single instance of damage.
Hardly Trying
Deal a total of 7,777,777 damage in a single run.
Tryhard
Deal a total of 77,777,777 damage in a single run.
Tryharder
Deal a total of 777,777,777 damage in a single run.
Constellation System Achievements
Constellation points are earned by cleansing Cursed Temples, which are primarily found in Act III. To unlock all constellations, you must ascend to the endgame, where these temples will also appear in Acts I and II.
The Path of Discipline
Unlock all nodes in a single constellation belonging to the Discipline (Blue) path.
The Path of Fury
Unlock all nodes in a single constellation belonging to the Fury (Red) path.
The Path of Faith
Unlock all nodes in a single constellation belonging to the Faith (Green) path.
Missable & Challenge Achievements
These achievements have specific conditions and may require starting a new save file if missed.
Stay a While and Listen
You must speak to every spirit with an '!' icon above their head throughout Act III. This must be completed before defeating the final boss of the Act for the first time.
Art of the Deal
Defeat The Merchant, the second boss of Act I, on your very first run of a new save file.
Guillotine
Finish Act I by defeating The Head-Cutter in 7 or fewer total runs on a new save file.
Red Tie
Finish Act II by defeating The Minister for a second time in 14 or fewer total runs. Note that this achievement requires completing the Act twice on a new save file.
Swift Rescue
Finish Act III by defeating the final boss, Nina's Monster, in 21 or fewer total runs on a new save file.
